Don’t we just love Wednesdays? Of course, we love Fridays more than Wednesdays, but a Wednesday gives you the hope that you’re almost there and you still have chances of getting out of a busy week from office… alive! But who could possibly be happier than a camel on a Wednesday? People who save hundreds of dollars on their auto insurance. The campaign gives a literal visual representation to the hump day – a camel with humps. Have a look at this crazy ad, featuring a talking camel, ecstatic on a Wednesday, roaming around an office asking everyone which day it is, and the answer? It’s Hump Day! Whooot! Guys, be happy. Come on. More than half of the week will pass by day end on a Wednesday. After watching a super happy camel, I am still wondering how people switching to GEICO are likely to react, maybe it is time…

A recent ad created in Taiwan for the Samsung Galaxy S4, shows how the gadget would have proven to be just as great as a magic wand in the land of Harry Potter. The ad starts off with Dumbledore giving a speech to the new batch of sorcerers to The Hogwarts School, including Sorry Potter, a Harry Potter lookalike and a Taiwanese girl sitting on the bench playing with the Samsung Galaxy phone. Later, the ad seems to get crazier as the girl completely wows the entire batch and Hogwarts staff in her class test by faking spells and playing music through a crystal ball, using her Samsung Galaxy S4 as the actual magic wand! Have a look at this bizarre ad, it surely gave me a good laugh!
Internet Explorer in its recent ad campaign, makes us remember the time when it was cool to wear shoes that would light up with every step you took, and when instead of flat screen tablets and smart phones, all we had was a digital pet to play with. Internet Explorer in this campaign tries to make us remember how in the 90s, it was the only internet browser which is now probably lost after Google Chrome and Firefox came in. Now, as our slap bracelets are kept away in a trunk, along with those laser pens and fuzzy haired troll figures, we have certainly grown out of the 90s era, and so has Internet Explorer, which through this ad asks you to reconnect with the newer and better version of the internet browser. See the ad for yourself, you might even feel yourself lost in nostalgia! Sigh, good ol’ days!
Playstation 4 came up with a great video ad campaign just a few days back that already earned thousands of youtube views. The ad starts with a blonde guy in an immaculate suit, and sleek hair, stepping out of his crashed car, and boldly asking the viewers, “Who are you not to be great?” The ad continues as the blonde guy walks out, talking to the camera, saying why shouldn’t us, the viewers settle to being ordinary because, apparently greatness awaits for all of us. By the end of the video, the man is in the middle of a wrecked city, with burned tires and demolished buildings, as a bunch of Playstation characters share the screen and the blonde guy makes his way past them kicking and punching a few on the way.…
Orphea, an insecticide brand recently came up with a great way for an outdoor campaign. They rented a huge billboard on a busy street in Milan, and placed an image of their product, Orphea4D Protection on it. I know you must be wondering what was so great about the campaign. Well, they created an insect trap through their billboard by plastering a section of the billboard with invisible glue in shape of an aerosol spray. Over a few days, those annoying outdoor insects that we love to hate, got themselves trapped to the glue, to unveil the huge insect trap for everyone to see. Great or gross? You decide for yourself!
The Chinese law prohibits hair-growth companies from publicizing their products, but the fact remains that it is neither helping the middle-aged population with thinning hair, and nor it is helping hair-growth shampoo producing companies. However, Zero Scalp, one of the many hair-growth shampoo producing companies in China came up with a great campaign to promote its product! The company supplied a number of stationery stores with The Nude Noodle Doodle writing pads, featuring a number of hairless men, and thus encouraging its customers to test their pens by doodling hair over the bald heads! And, the end result? A lot of colourful hair on the bald heads, and some good promotion for Zero Scalp!
